Hi, my name is Ródeno1.
This term we have read the book: The Wind in the Willows. It tells us
about Mole and his new friends. Thanks to them, he sees the good and the bad in the world.
KIND OF BOOK:
-It is an adventure book.
CHARACTERS:
-Mole is small and dark animal. He is frightened and timid.
-Rat is grey, has two bright eyes and a little brown face. He is a nice
animal and helps Mole.
-Toad is green and he is a frog. He is rich and arrogant.
-Badger is a badger and he is bad, he does not like visits.
PLACE WHERE THE ACTION IS SET:
-The underground and the forest next to the river.
PLOT:
This book is about a
mole (Mole called) that comes to the surface in spring and discovers the wonders of the world.
After his arrival to surface he meets Rat who becomes his best friend and teaches him how to swim.
Throughout the years, he discovers things about the forest where he lives with
Rat.
Mole and Rat meet new friends, Badger and Toad.
They live next to the river and have many adventures together. Toad buys expensive things
and then he forgets about them. He buys seven cars, and has seven accidents because
he is a terrible driver. Later Toad is sent to prison. Three years later Toad
manages to get home, but his home is conquer by the bad animals from the Wild
Wood. He and his friends make their home up and have dinner together.They are
very happy.
PERSONAL OPINION:
-It is a funny book and I
like it because it tells us stories about animals.
