Doctor Dollitte

Hi everybody!

We are the group A,B,C,D Spartacus

This year we read Doctor Dolittle.

It is an adventure book.

The main character is John Dolittle. He is a doctor and later, a great vet. He is tall and he has got red hair. He is a very good and generous person. He isn't rich but he is happy. He likes eating fruit, but he doesn't like wearing shoes. 

The action is set in Puddleby, a town in England, and in Africa.

Dr John Dolittle is a strange man. He loves animals and has got many pets in his house. But his patiens don't like his pets and they leave him. A bird tells him that animals in Africa are injured. He goes there, cures them and stops the war between them. Finally he decides to stay in Africa because they need him.

We love this book because it tells us about animals and we have enjoyed a lot reading it.

He is humble, but he has sometimes has got a very bad behaviour.

He plays as second forward in the left extreme for the Barca.

He has won the Puskas Award, Footballer South American  of the Year.

He has won Winnipeg bronze medal in 2008, Chiapan bronze medals in 2009 and in 2012 in Santo Domingo.

He has won two FIFA World Cups, two UEFA Supercups, four leagues, two King Cups ,three Spanish Supercups and two golden European shoes.

He has got a son. His name is Thiago. His girlfriend is Antonella Rocuzzo. 

7C Babe Ruth (baseball)

This was Babe Ruth.

He was fat. He had short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was great.

He was an excellent athlete and he had got a very good behavior.

He played  baseball.

He started as a pitcher for the " Orioles Bltimore ". He was a good pitcher but he was sometimes a bit rude. Then he played for the " Red Sox” and " Yankees teams. He retired in 1935.

He won seven World Series and a large number of records in his time. He died on August 16, 1948 in New York. He is remembered with reverence not only for fans of the " Yankees " but  for all baseball lovers worldwide .

                     He is not  tall nor short. He is 1.78 cm tall. He is thin.                        He weighs 72 kg and he is very young. 

He´s only 21 years old.

He is very funny, nice and he never loses courage.   

He plays football for the  serie A club Milan and the Italy national team. 

His position is striker. 

He hasn’t won any cups or medals because he is very young.

10B Thibaut Courtois (football)

He is tall, thin. He is young because he is only 21 years old but I think he is ugly.

He plays football and he is the best goalkeeper for the Atletico Madrid Club.

Last year he won the Zamora Cup because he was the best goalkeeper at the BBVA league and he won 3 cups for the Atletico Madrid Club.

He is very tall, and strong. He has got black, short, straight hair and brown eyes and a curiosity: He has got double-jointed at his extremities.

He is a brave and decided person and he is always smiling except when he is about starting a race.

He is a swimmer.

He swims for the USA in the Olympics.

He swims as a single sportsperson but he sometimes does relay races with other swimmers of the team.

He has won lots of cups and medals but in his best times he won twelve gold medals in the Beijing Olympics.

He is Pau Gasol. He’s Spanish and he was born in Barcelona in1980, so he is thirty three years old. He is very tall, thin, young. I think that he is ugly. His hair is short and brown. His eyes are brown.

Pau Gasol isn’t very funny, but he’s a good person. He likes talking to other people about basketball.

He plays basketball for the NBA team in USA and his brother does too. Pau played in FC Barcelona and now he is playing in the Angeles Lakers team. He is the first Spanish player that has played the All-Start Game in NBA. He plays as a power forward player.

He has won the King Cup, and the League ACB twice. He has been NBA Champion twice. He has got many medals too.

10 C The Wind in the Willows

Hi, my name is Ródeno1.

This term we have read the book: The Wind in the Willows. It tells us about Mole and his new friends. Thanks to them, he sees the good and the bad in the world.

KIND OF BOOK:

-It is an adventure book.

CHARACTERS:

-Mole is small and dark animal. He is frightened and timid.

-Rat is grey, has two bright eyes and a little brown face. He is a nice animal and helps Mole.

-Toad is green and he is a frog. He is rich and arrogant.

-Badger is a badger and he is bad, he does not like visits.

PLACE WHERE THE ACTION IS SET:

-The underground and the forest next to the river.

PLOT:

This book is about a mole (Mole called) that comes to the surface in spring and discovers the wonders of the world.
After his arrival to surface he meets Rat who becomes his best friend and teaches him how to swim.
Throughout the years, he discovers things about the forest where he lives with Rat.
Mole and Rat meet new friends, Badger and Toad.

They live next to the river and have many adventures together. Toad buys expensive things and then he forgets about them. He buys seven cars, and has seven accidents because he is a terrible driver. Later Toad is sent to prison. Three years later Toad manages to get home, but his home is conquer by the bad animals from the Wild Wood. He and his friends make their home up and have dinner together.They are very happy.

PERSONAL OPINION:

-It is a funny book and I like it because it tells us stories about animals.

The Wind in the Willows

It tells us the adventures who four animal friends 

Mole, Rat, Toad and Badger have together.
